Riechen, German English Flashcard and Free Journal Page, Free

I am glad to share my flashcard project for the word, Riechen in German, and the word, smell in English. 

I MAKE THESE FOR MY OWN USE 

I am glad to share these projects, and I hope they help you.  I am trying to learn a few words to keep up my newfound interest in languages. I make these to help me remember the words. The top part is a language journal page. I use them to make notes and to practice writing. The bottom is a flashcard to color and decorate the words. 

HOW I DO THESE

I print out the page and color the words. Then I cut out the bottom sections and glue them back to back, making a flashcard for the words. I use the top part for a language journal. I add it to others with brass roundhead push-through fasteners. The journal gives me another way to learn and review

Free German English Flashcard and a Journal Page for Trocen, Dry,

I am happy to create a flashcard project for the word Trocken in German and the word Dry in English.

WHY I MAKE THESE

I am trying to learn new words in some languages, so I make these to help me remember the words. The top part is a language journal page. I use them to make notes and to practice writing. The bottom is a flashcard to color and decorate the words.

SOME INSTRUCTIONS

Print the page below and color the words. Then cut out the bottom sections. Next, glue them back to back so they make a flashcard for the words. If your paper is too lightweight then sandwich the two sides between a third sheet or a piece of heavier cardstock.  

The top part can be used for a language journal, just can add it to others. Use brass roundhead push-through fasteners to hold them together.

Here is my free English German printable flashcard craft project and journal page for Scar, Die Narbe.

WHO AM I?

Well, I am just a guy who is a senior citizen and discovered how wonderful languages are. I do not have an education past high school and have always felt that I need to learn more. At my age it is hard to learn so I have to use all the tricks I can think of.  Sometimes doing something like a craft helps me to remember the word, so I make these flashcards and color them or decorate them and then use them for drills and games to help me learn. If I know I'm going to meet someone who speaks the language I'll bring some flashcards and then we have something to talk about and the help me to understand and learn the word better. 

Please be patient, with my mistakes, I am still learning.
