I am delighted to share my print and color flashcard for the Spanish word alegre, which means "happy or joyful" in English, with you for free. I hope that you can use it and have fun with it. 

WHAT THIS IS 

My free printable coloring project has two parts. At the bottom are cutouts for the front and back of a do-it-yourself flashcard. Just color the two sides and glue them together. You can use it to help you learn the word "alegre." I made the top part a language journal page that can be added to others to form a vocabulary book. You can color the letters; there is an area for notes or writing a practice sentence.

The free printable coloring project below has cut-outs at the bottom for the front and back of a flashcard that can be colored and glued together to make a vocabulary card that may be used to help to learn the word.

I'm over 60 now but, I always wanted to learn a second language so I started with some language CDs from the library, but it wasn't sticking in my old brain. So I began to make flashcards to help my learning. I am very visual, so seeing it helps. When I color the letters in with pencils it further reinforces the language learning process.

Free Spanish Print And Color Flashcard for el Aire, and the English Word for, Air

Here is my print and color flashcard for the Spanish word, "el Aire," which is in English means "air." I hope that you can use it and that it helps you. 

WHAT THIS IS 

This is a free printable coloring project. It has two parts. One is the cut-outs for the front and back of a flashcard that can be colored and glued together to make a vocabulary card that you can use to help to learn the word, "el Aire" The other is the top part, it is a language journal page that can be added to others to make a kind of vocabulary book. 

The letters are in open, bold letters so you can color them. And there is an area for notes or writing a practice sentence.

I AM JUST A MAN WHO WANTS TO LEARN 

I am just a high school graduate and never had many opportunities for college, but I love to learn. So, now I'm over 60, and I always wanted to learn a second language, so I randomly picked up a set of language CDs at the library to use. But, my old brain is not taking it in very well. I have begun to look for more creative things to add to my learning process and making these worksheets and flashcards to add another level to my learning. I am very visual, so seeing it helps. The process of coloring the letters with pencils further reinforces the language learning process.

Here is my flashcard and language journal page for the word Primero in Spanish and the word First in English.

WHY I MAKE THESE 

I am trying to learn new Spanish words, so I make these to help me remember the words. The top part is a language journal page. I use them to make notes and to practice writing. The bottom is a flashcard to color and decorate the words. We all learn in different ways and I find with my learning style that doing an activity helps me to learn.

Free Spanish English Flashcard for El Relampago, Lightning in English

Here you will find a free printable language journal page and Do-It-Yourself flashcard that you can print and color. I do these to help me learn words. This one is the Spanish word, El Relampago, and the English word Lightning. 

WHAT IT IS 

The bottom is the flashcard for you to color and the top is a journal page that can be combined with others to make your own language journal. 

HOW I USE THESE 

I color the words and then cut the bottom parts out and glue them together back to back so they make the flashcard for the word, so they make a two-sided flashcard with the English on one side and the Spanish on the other. The top part becomes a page in my language journal. I combine it with others by using three brass roundhead pushpins.

Here is my flashcard project for the word Gris in Spanish and the word Grey in English.

MY REASON FOR THESE

I discovered at a late age that I love languages and learning new words, but at my age learning is hard so I need all the help I can get. The flashcards help me to learn new words. I use the top part as a language journal page to make notes and practice writing. I use the bottom as a flashcard which I color and decorate the words.

A FEW INSTRUCTIONS

Just print the page below and color the words. After you cut out the bottom parts glue them back to back so they make a flashcard for the words. If your paper is too lightweight then sandwich the two sides between a third sheet or a piece of heavier cardstock.  

The top part is for your language journal.  Just use brass roundhead push-through fasteners to bind them together.

Spanish, English Flashcard for La Primavera / Spring, and a Bonus Journal Page

Here is my learning project to make a flashcard for the word Spring in English and. La Primavera, in Spanish.

WHY I MADE THIS

I want to learn some Spanish, and at my age (I'm a senior citizen), it is hard to learn new things even though it is important to keep on learning things. So I make these projects to help me to learn new words in Spanish. 

I find that coloring the words and doodling word-related thoughts on the journal page helps me retain the word.  

I print the page and color the words.  After I cut the bottom parts out, I glue them back to back and make a flashcard that I can use to practice the word.

Box, and La Caja, Spanish English Flashcard and Journal page

Here is my free print and color project to make a flashcard for the word, Box, in English and, La Caja, in Spanish.

I chose to do this word because I heard it somewhere and it kind of stuck as a common Spanish word but I couldn't remember it exactly or its English equivalent.  This frustrated me and so I decided to do a flashcard for it. Sometimes doing a little project is all I need to get the word right.

I print these and color the words. I cut the bottom sections out and glue them back to back to make a flashcard for the word La Caja, on one side and box on the other. (If your paper is too lightweight try sandwiching the two sides between a third sheet or a piece of heavier cardstock.)   

I use the top section as a page for my language journal. I bind it with others with use brass roundhead push-through fasteners.

Salir and To Depart, Spanish English Flashcard and Journal Page

This is my flashcard for the word, Salir, in Spanish, and To Depart in English. Flashcards help me to learn and so I make these. The bottom is the flashcard and when I color and decorate the words it helps. The top portion is a page for a language journal. I make notes all over the border and on the space for practice writing.

Nurse and El Enfermero Words, A Flashcard in English and Spanish, and Journal Page

I would like to share with you a flashcard and journal project I made for the words El Enfermero in Spanish, and Nurse in English.

I make these to help me to learn, and if they help me then they may help you. 

WHAT IT IS 

First, print the page below and then color the words. Next cut the bottom cards out and glue them back to back so they make a flashcard for the word Nurse on one side and El Enfermero on the other.

Here is a free print and color project to make a flashcard and journal page for the phrase, to read, in English and Leer in Spanish.
